Studying offshore wind supply chains with NREL

Chen-Kai, a graduate student in the RESET Lab, recently began an internship with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). He is working with NREL's offshore wind team to carry out a study on potential port scenarios on the US West Coast. His research within the team focuses on the cost-benefit trade-offs as well as supply chain opportunities to support the development of commercial-scale floating wind projects along the US West Coast.
