Ricardo Pineda named as Escazú Champion

Ricardo Pineda, a graduate student in the RESET Lab, was recently named an Escazú Champion by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean. Ricardo will advocate for the ratification of the Escazú Agreement, an agreement focused on ensuring access to information on the environment and protecting environmental defenders. Through this role, as well as his work with the RESET Lab, Ricardo Pineda will continue to support environmental democracy and just energy transitions.
